Why was Professor Profit's Paradigm selected as a charting study?

Professor Profit’s Paradigm is ideally suited as a charting study for SSU’s Investment Analysis course for the following reasons:

1. We embrace three out of five of the Course Syllabus Major Concepts – Equity Investments, Risk Management, and Solutions & Strategies;

2. We present a unique stock trading system dedicated to “Risk Reduction Methods for Stock Market Investors”;
   
3. Our methods are based in part on a combination of tools/methods of two independent renowned stock investment authors – Zahorchak and Weinstein;

4. The web site is comprised of a free, easy to follow four step tutorial demonstrating application of specific signals which enable the student to assess markets and individual stocks so they know when to Buy, Sell, Short, or Cover an equity investment;

5. We demonstrate how to use moving averages in determining market direction, stock direction, and price related risk;

6. We demonstrate how to use Sell-Stops and Cover-Stops to limit price related risk and lock-in profits;

7. We demonstrate the results of the employed techniques through a real-time portfolio;

8. We provide access to books for those interested in delving more deeply into the theory behind the techniques, and;

9. We provide access and training on PC-based tools (i.e., UniverseManager) for analyzing and managing stock market data in an electronic environment.

The true strength of Professor Profit’s Paradigm, is the demonstration of combining different types of tools. This multiple-tool methodology provides a student with the exposure to the benefits of combining tools as a means of customizing a system tailored to one’s specific objectives.
